1. Who you are contracting with

The Service is provided to you by PathShalaAi. References to "we" and "our" in these Terms mean PathShalaAi. If you are using the Service on behalf of an institution or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing the Service, registering for an account, or clicking any "I agree" or similar control, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

3. Description of the Service

PathShalaAi is an academic workspace that lets students discover and join classrooms, share study materials, take notes, generate flashcards and quizzes, and use AI-assisted study tools.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• upload or share content you do not have the right to share;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
• use the Service to harass, impersonate, or harm other users;
• violate your institution's academic integrity policies through the Service.

6. Intellectual property

PathShalaAi and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, documentation, branding, trademarks, and other intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you upload, and grant PathShalaAi a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices, billing cycles, renewals, taxes, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal accessible from your account; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, and will give reasonable notice of material changes.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or independent verification.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PathShalaAi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
